Overview

Built in the mid to late 1800’s, it was part of the Rockport Granite Company housing workmen who mined the nearby quarries. Go there early in the morning to experience the sunrise over the water. There is a boat launch at the pier just 120 yards from the house, where you can bring your kayaks or stand up paddle boards and explore the area by water.

Experience swimming in a fresh water quarry known as Little Parker Pit just up the road a piece (400 yards) and see how refreshing a dip in the quarry is on a hot summer day. Like hikes or running in the woods, then leave the house, walk under the Keystone Bridge made from Rockport granite and enter into the beautiful Dogtown wilderness.
