“Le Rondini far exceeded our expectations.

This beautiful elegant Tuscany country house is located on a ridge that affords wonderful views from every room all of which are tastefully furnished with comfortable large beds and air conditioned. If we didn’t wish to have our meals in the large dining room with stunning views we could move to the front terrace where the view is even grander. The rear terrace looks onto the garden with the BBQ and was my favourite place to chill out and read or snooze. The house is well furnished and was ideally suited for our family reunion but the most used facility was the large swimming pool that is set in another terrace below the house with yet again beautiful views.

The medieval town of Montopoli is a three minute drive away or a 5 minute walk where there are 3 restaurants, a pizza take away, a butchers and greengrocers. A co-op supermarket is a 10 minute drive away. Several old typical Tuscany quiet hilltop villages are within half an hours drive and Lucca and Volterra within an hour or so. If you fly into Pisa you should take a day to visit this beautiful town located on the River Arno that runs through the centre.

Finally, I would like o thank our hosts Valeria and Maurice who were so kind and welcoming and who were on hand most days to deal with any queries. Our two weeks at Le Rondini will be remembered by all the family as one of the finest holidays we have had and nobody wanted to leave!”
