Holua Kai #1 is a modern, single-level luxury vacation home that boasts a prime location within the newly developed Holua Kai community and overlooks the luscious greens of the Kona Country Club Ocean Course. If the tropical landscape wasn’t enough of an extraordinary view to take in, you and your guests may traverse your eyes over to the west to marvel at the vibrant hues of the sun setting over the dazzling ocean.

This luxury Big Island vacation home offers a contemporary plantation-style aesthetic with a vast, open floor plan. As you venture through each area of the rental, you’re greeted with fresh furnishings, dark wooden accents, and a sense of familiar comfort that is sure to give you that feeling of home. With space to accommodate and entertain up to 6 guests, Holua Kai #1 features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, vaulted ceilings to capture the allure of the open and bright space, and a private, open-air lanai.

The primary suite is decked with authentic island décor and direct access to the well manicured lawn, to allow for that true Hawaiian essence to come pouring in each day when you open up the sliding glass doors. Perhaps this is where you’ll enjoy that first cup of invigorating Kona coffee and begin to make plans for yet another exciting day in paradise. Guests staying within the master suite will delight in their getting ready processes thanks to the dual vanities, free-standing soaking tub, and adjacent standalone shower inside the en-suite master bath. The natural light flooding in through the various windows and light wash stone tiling used throughout will likely grant you with a fresh and bright atmosphere as you prepare yourself for the day to come.

You’ll find that the glorious chef kitchen is fully-equipped for your dining needs with a lineup of brand new, stainless steel appliances and stunning granite slab countertops. The kitchen is primed and ready for guests to whip up an authentic Hawaiian meal and you may find that the various seating areas inspire your next set of dining plans. Perhaps the breakfast bar is perfect for those simple meals that fuel you prior to a day of adventures, maybe the outdoor table will serve as a great location for cards and evening cocktails, and the indoor dining area could be the scene for your island-inspired dinner party.

If you’re looking to take advantage of this slice of paradise for a peaceful night in, the living room features a massive, flat screen Smart TV perfect for kicking back with a movie and your favorite snacks. The modern, white sectional sofa and ottoman allow for plenty of seating for guests to get comfortable and enjoy each other’s company.

The true magic behind this idyllic vacation home lies beyond its walls. From the cool ocean breezes and amazing views that waft through the space, to the lanai and perfectly maintained greens of the Kona Country Club Ocean Course, that stunning island feeling that you desire can be felt from anywhere in this community. As a guest at Holua Kai, you’ll also have full access to community amenities such as the private recreation center with a refreshing leisure pool, heated spa, gathering pavilion, poolside lounge area, changing rooms, and scenic ocean lookout.

Beyond the walls of Holua Kai, the Big Island awaits you! In fact, this vacation home leads directly to Keauhou Bay which is notoriously known for its Manta Ray population. If you’re looking for an island adventure, you don’t have to travel too far from home to be near a multitude of exciting snorkeling, sightseeing, whale watching, and sailing tours. If a lazier, more lounge-worthy beach day is what’s fitting the bill, you’ll be thrilled with your close proximity to numerous breathtaking beaches, such as White Sand, Kua Bay, and Makalawena. Whether it’s a relaxing getaway or a thrill-seeking Hawaiian vacation you’re after, Holua Kai #1 can serve as the perfect homebase to all of your holiday needs.

Please note that 7 private tennis and 20 pickleball courts are available for guest use for an additional fee. Of those facilities, 5 tennis courts and 8 pickleball courts have lights. Court Rentals are $25/hour per court for non-members. If you'd like to become a member of the Holua Kai community, the court rental fee will be waived. To book a private tennis or pickleball court, guests may call or text Holua Kai's shop phone, and let them know of the day and time you are planning to play. A member of Holua Kai's community team will let you know which court(s) are available.

Drop-in, Open Pickleball Play Schedule @ Holua Racquet and Paddle: Every drop in play is open to members and non-members alike. Non-members pay $10/person for each open play they join. For example, if you play in the 8 AM open play and pay $10/person, an additional $10/person for the afternoon play will apply. However, the Holua Kai community offers weekly, monthly, and more membership rates. If interested, please contact Holua Kai's shop for applicable rates.
