This exquisite luxury property, recently renovated and refreshed with new, sophisticated furnishings, has everything the discerning guest could want, including central air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout for maximum comfort. Fully outfitted with stylish finishes and exceptionally well cared for, this home offers a quintessential modern experience while subtly recalling the Rockefeller-era glamour for which the resort is famous. Rental guests are invited to enjoy fabulous amenities access at two world class destinations, the Mauna Kea Resort and the Westin Hapuna Beach Resort with payment of an additional fee directly to the resort. Resort amenities are detailed below.
The great room has excellent natural light and an open floor plan in which a living area, dining space, and kitchen all feature ocean and sunset views. The recessed living room boasts gorgeous koa woodwork, ample plush seating, a hidden flat-screen television in a state-of-the-art remote-operated custom cabinet, a casual dining area for four, and a wet bar stocked with a mini-fridge, sink, glassware, and bar accessories. The formal dining space is equipped with a lovely dining set for eight. Dining, living and wet bar areas are outfitted with a cutting edge Sonos speaker surround sound system for maximum enjoyment.
Gaze out at the Pacific Ocean and the home's tropical courtyard from the sublime gourmet kitchen, outfitted with elegant and unique green granite countertops, gleaming stainless steel top-of-the-line appliances, and a skylight. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, stove top, built-in microwave, toaster oven, classic toaster, Keurig coffee maker, oversized refrigerator and freezer, plus two ovens and three sinks - truly a chef's dream! A laundry room off the kitchen has an oversized Whirlpool washer and dryer, folding area, and laundry sink.
The primary suite is fit for royalty with a king bed, flat-screen television, generous closets, sliding doors to lanai seating, and an en suite bath. Double doors lead to the decadent primary bath with dual sinks, extra vanity area, soaking tub overlooking a lushly landscaped courtyard, walk-in shower, and separate commode. The second bedroom is appointed with a king bed, flat-screen television, ocean views, and sliding doors to the upper pool deck, while the third bedroom offers two twin beds, a flat-screen television, and a courtyard view. Bedrooms two and three share a large "Jack and Jill" style bathroom with a dual vanity, soaking tub, walk-in shower, and separate commode. A lock on each door assures privacy for both bedrooms.
Sliding glass doors open from the great room to the upper and lower lanai and pool deck, where you can watch the humpback whale migration from December to May.
