Robinson

Overview

The villa is built on two levels and is decorated and furnished throughout to a high standard. The main villa has been completely refurbished with modern bathrooms and new lighting and decoration. There are steps from the garden which allow access to the sea. It would be difficult to find a more stunning natural location for swimming and sunbathing.

Robinson is located between St Tropez and Lavandou, above a rocky coastline below the hamlet of Le Dattier. This unspoilt mini-village of 15 houses is set in one of the few remaining sections of natural coastal countryside between Nice and Toulon. It is between Cavalaire and the next village to the West, Le Rayol.

The natural setting of the villa means that you can walk up the hill to the hamlet and then along paths to the west or east. The path to the east offers a stunning walk along the cliffs to Cavalaire, while the path to the west follows the old railway track to Le Rayol. There are many other walks in the area.

Accommodations

Indoors

• The front door leads to an entrance hall and through, to a large living/dining room. This has double French doors leading to the main terrace. The living room with a fireplace has satellite TV, iPod docking station, and DVD player
• The kitchen is modern with a Neff oven, microwave, 2 fridges, freezer, Nespresso machine, juicer, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine; there is also a spin dryer in the garage.
• A small study which has wireless internet access. Both the kitchen and study have French doors which lead to an al fresco dining area.
• Three bedrooms, all of which have en-suite bathrooms, each with a basin, shower and WC. Two of the bedrooms have lovely sea views and one has a balcony which is a sun trap. There is also an independent WC.
  
• Small office with printer and phone.
• Independent lower level apartment of the ground floor, which is reached by steps in the garden
• Apartment has two double bedrooms with sea views and a shared bathroom

Outdoors

• Three attractive terraces with steps leading down to the sea for sunbathing and swimming
• Fenced garden, spacious and terraced on three levels; all offer marvelous views but each is slightly different according to its height above the rocks and sea. The top level has the main dining area outside the kitchen and then runs round in front of the living-room. The middle level has comfortable chairs and a table for drinks. The bottom level is spacious and runs from the sous-sol apartment round to the steps which lead to the sea. Each level has beds planted with flowering plants.
  
• At night, the garden is lit by spotlights to create a lovely ambiance
  
• From the bottom level, steps and a path lead to a flat section of rock where you can sunbathe or swim safely. It is difficult for others to reach this bay so it is effectively your own private area
• There are several sun loungers and dining chairs for each of two outside dining tables. There are also chairs for a covered dining table - so there is plenty of choice as to where to eat and relax. There is a Weber barbecue in the covered walkway outside the kitchen.
