Overview

The chateau with its 11 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, is completely updated to today's comfort standards, while maintaining its old world charm and history. It offers a heated swimming pool and a very nice tennis court. The well-kept garden (about 12 acres) includes a pine forest and lovely terraces that serve as a unique and memorable setting.

The Chateau is decorated with a mixture of formal and casual French antique furnishings. Within the park-like setting is a 12th century tower and a large 16th century chapel. The property enjoys spectacular views of Mont Ste Victoire.

The main entrance, with original painting by Florentine painters, is on the west side and opens onto a large hall. To the left of the entrance are the library, drawing room, laundry room (washing machine and dryer), and staircase. To the right of the entrance are the main living rooms, fully equipped kitchen and the dining room, which is richly furnished and features valuable artwork. The spacious terraces on the east and south side of the chateau overlook the large grounds.

The bedrooms have been named for famous French artists. On the second floor is a billiard table, card table, 2 gym appliances and a TV room.

Outside the heated swimming pool 11 m x 7 m with electric cover is open from mid-May to mid-October. The outdoor area is equipped with garden furniture, Weber BBQ, tennis court, etc. There ample parking spaces on the grounds.

A visit to the town of Aix en Provence includes the best restaurants and cafés, wine tours, golf courses, Cezanne circuit and the St Victoire Mountain, local markets, and activities for kids.
